- LOAD TESTED BATTERY AND CHECKED THE RECOVERY TIME. CHECKED ALTERNATOR OUTPUT AT IDLE & AT 2000 RPM. TESTED ALTERNATOR DIODE PATTERN. CHECKED STARTER CRANKING VOLTAGE AND AMPERAGE. Found the alternator is not charging correctly. Replaced alternator and charged battery
