- LOAD TESTED BATTERY AND CHECKED THE RECOVERY TIME. CHECKED ALTERNATOR OUTPUT AT IDLE & AT 2000 RPM. TESTED ALTERNATOR DIODE PATTERN. CHECKED STARTER CRANKING VOLTAGE AND AMPERAGE. Had to jump start car in parking lot. Charged battery it tests bad, alternator has a open diode. Starter tests okay. Recommend replacing battery and alternator and recheck for other problems.
- ALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace
- CLEANED BATTERY TERMINAL ENDS AND INSTALLED BATTERY.
