- LOAD TESTED BATTERY AND CHECKED THE RECOVERY TIME. CHECKED ALTERNATOR OUTPUT AT IDLE & AT 2000 RPM. TESTED ALTERNATOR DIODE PATTERN. CHECKED STARTER CRANKING VOLTAGE AND AMPERAGE. The starter makes noise when starting – inspected flywheel and the teeth have some worn spots on edges – recommend replacing starter and recheck for other noises – starter is under intake. The lower control arm bushings are torn and moving a lot – recommend replacing both lower control arms and sway bar links – will need an alignment after repair .
